In a nutshell, i’m an ambitious and passionate front end developer with a keen eye for design. I strive to produce beautiful products that inspire and delight. I have a little over a decade of industry experience in both design and development. I’ve worked with great people, at some innovative companies for some industry leading brands.

Father

The Cooper household·2026–Present·< 1 year

Twin girls arrived in February. Equal parts chaos and magic, currently my most demanding and rewarding role to date. Taking some well-earned time to be present before figuring out next steps.

Design Engineer

Human Made Machine·2022–2026·4 years

Scratched a long-standing design itch at a small, creative agency. Owned the brand, built Figma design systems, created After Effects tooling for DOOH, and kept the Angular products ticking along.

2017–2022

Technical Lead

HP Inc·2017–2022·5 years

Joined a print-tech start-up, got acquired by HP in 2019, and ended up leading front-end across a global team. Quite the plot twist. Vue, Node, and plenty of component libraries.

Lead Front-End Developer

Tictrac·2013–2017·4 years

Early-stage health-tech startup where I helped shape the product from scratch. Scaled a white-label platform for clients including Singapore's Ministry of Health, Aviva, and Allianz.

Where my love of UI was well and truly confirmed. Five years across Google, YouTube, Cancer Research UK, Tesco, and Pret, growing from junior to senior along the way.

Web Designer

Where it all started. A busy agency building client sites, email campaigns, and Magento shops, and the dawning realisation that I genuinely loved building things for the web.
